Bird tongue

Made up of sequences at turns musical, grave, and lighthearted, Bird Tongue is an artistic, poetic and philosophical documentary about the powers of translation and the desire for communication between humans and birds. It is set in the future, after the sixth mass extinction. With curiosity and irony, we watch humans’ attempts at imagining what a possible dialogue might look like now that all the birds have disappeared.
This film is an offering, staging musicians and artists in a conference for the birds. Playful, musical and philosophical, it invites the viewer to reflect on a wider scope of communication.
